DMI manufactures Home Styles products and has become a leader in the industry of their primary product lines, including home office and computer workstations; desk chairs; commercial office furniture collections; casual lifestyle furniture; and collections of better quality, wood residential furniture. We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.

This dining set is fairly substantial and looks like it would stand up to quite a few years worth of abuse, important to me as I have two small children.The set went together very smoothly, it took me about two hours to get all the pieces unpacked and assembled. I was impressed with how the set was packed, lots of polystyrene foam and paper wrapping and sturdy cartons.Assembly was a snap, just a few allen-head screws per item and you're done. The only issue I had was with the first chair, which wobbled a little bit. The solution was to slacken off all the allen-head screws a little, place the chair upright and sit in in, rocking side-to-side and back and forth a bit. Then I carefully flipped the chair over and re-tightened all the screws. Problem solved. Didi this with the remaining three chairs and no wobbles. I was a little worried about my oldest child (5yo) tipping the table over by putting all his weight on the very edge of the table (he's a climber ;-)). This is the first pedestal table I've owned, so I wasn't sure of the stability. It turns out not to be a problem, it takes quite an effort to make the table tip, even slightly.This set is comparable in quality to sets I've seen in R***store for almost $1000. I would definitely buy this set again if I had my time over. Highly recommended set, as is DiningRoomsDirect, a real pleasure to deal with.

Easy to assemble, rich color, very sturdy, great for smaller-size dining areas.
Service and delivery comments:
Only downside is that some of the assembly pieces were in a plastic bag and stapled (with heavy, difficult-to-remove staples) to the inside of the table. These could just as easily have been packaged in a separate box that fits inside the larger box!

This is a great product. The color is flawless and the craftsmanship is sturdy. I wish my formal dining room set was as good (I bought it from another discount furniture store). The seats are wide and comfortable. The back is supportive and cozy. I love the pedestal leg--nice and chunky--the seats push in well around it. I 100% recommend this product. You'll love it. I discovered that there is a matching buffet as well while I was searching around. If you have extra room in your kitchen it's a great item too.
